WhatsApp platform
The technical layer that connects the vertical products we build to Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform.
What we operate
RELOOP AI LTD operates a connectivity platform for the WhatsApp Business API. It is not a product in its own right: it is the shared infrastructure through which the vertical products we build send and receive WhatsApp messages on behalf of the business customers who use them.
Each business customer uses its own WhatsApp number. The platform connects it, routes messages to the right product and reports their delivery statuses.
How it works

Connection
The business customer connects its own number through Embedded Signup, Meta's flow for onboarding to the WhatsApp Business Platform: it signs in with its Meta account, selects or creates its WhatsApp Business Account, verifies the number and authorises the platform to operate on it.

Routing
Each connected number is tied to the product it was activated for. Inbound messages are routed to that product; outbound messages start from the product and pass through the platform.

Delivery
The platform exchanges messages with the WhatsApp Business Platform through 360dialog and reports delivery statuses back to the product: sent, delivered, read, failed.

Management
For each connected account the platform manages the phone number, message templates and webhook configuration, so the product stays aligned with the customer's WhatsApp account. [[VERIFICARE]]
Meta permissions
To operate on the numbers business customers connect, the platform uses two WhatsApp Business Platform permissions:
- whatsapp_business_messaging
Send and receive WhatsApp messages on connected numbers, on behalf of the business customer and for the product it uses.
- whatsapp_business_management
Access the WhatsApp Business Accounts that business customers connect through Embedded Signup, to manage their phone numbers, message templates and webhook subscriptions.
The platform accesses only the accounts a business customer has chosen to connect, and only to run the product it uses.

Our Business Solution Provider (BSP): the platform's access to the WhatsApp Business API goes through 360dialog.
- Meta
Provides the WhatsApp Business Platform, where numbers are registered and messages are delivered.
What stays with the customer
The number, the WhatsApp Business Account and the relationship with its own customers stay with the business customer. It can disconnect the number at any time, by writing to us or by revoking the platform's access in its business portfolio settings on Meta. [[VERIFICARE]]
Sending messages is subject to WhatsApp's business messaging rules, which require the end user's agreement to receive messages from the business.
